In 1995 I moved from the West Coast to Boston, Massachusetts to start a new chapter in my life.I got accepted into a four year program at The School of the Museum of Fine Arts and Tufts University. It was challenging to say the least and hoping all my life experience and my Punk roots would help carry me through what was ahead of me.

I took a small apartment on the top floor  of an old three story brownstone on Shawmut Ave were I crashed for the next two years.Their was a door in the apartment that led to a old dusty hallway which brought you to the roof that overlooked Boston. At the top of the stairs their was a skylight that lit the space with the most magical light i had ever seen. This space quickly became my studio were I worked on this photo series for the next year.
